Panama 2012 day 1

Our group of 14 made it safely to the mission in Boquete, Panama.  We had ten team members flying out of Indy, 2 from Wichita, and 2 from Orlando.    We spent our first day touring the mission site, sorting school supplies, clothing and medicine.  The men helped move a few thousand pounds of coffee that is ready for processing..   Today the group rode on the bus to pick up the Guaymi Indians who live along the road up the mountainside. We had over 125 people on the bus today.  The men in our group had to get off the bus 2 times in order to make it up the incline.   After church the medical clinic was open for patients and the group helped to pass out school supplies to the kids.  We are looking forward to the rest of the week!
