Jesus is Here

Today was a full day of worship in every sense of the word.  It’s after 9:30 PM and the church is still rocking and celebrating an anniversary event for the women’s choir.  I don’t know the definition of shindig, but I think this qualifies.  The day began with a faith filled worship service.  Church in a different language (Creole) is difficult to connect with but you can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.  The LORD equipped me to deliver the sermon message; bringing encouragement to church members and leaders.  The team was greeted with many hugs and holy kisses at the end of the service, by the entire congregation I think.

While I met with some of the Men in Action discipleship group in the afternoon, the ladies ran to an opportunity to meet Jesus with the orphanage girls; doing to crafts and playing musical chairs.  One of the little girls decided to carry her chair with her to make sure she had a seat; I like her style!  A walk to the beach and seeing the sunset was an awesome way to start winding down a Jesus day.  The fishing boats at the beach take you back 2000 years.  You could almost hear Him say, “Come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men”.
